~ Day 15 ~
Whenever we have moved to a new house I have asked the Lord for a home with lots and lots of windows. We are home allot and being able to see outside can make all the difference in our perspective. But with a house full of people and each day packed with action – this can be visually challenging.
What happens outside stays outside – right?
Amidst the baseball bats, basketballs, zip-line and every imaginable thing one can throw or catch – I have a dream. A dream of a patio/sanctuary where one can be alone and enjoy nature, times with the Lord, do homework or take a private phone call.
Truth be told – it has hole in the middle where the big blue umbrella stood.
So, instead of replacing the costly umbrella I just try to keep something pretty in the middle of the table to cover.
Now that fall is visually apparent – I’ve wanted an arrangement to grace our new/old table. Samuel and I headed to the local garden shop and snagged these plants on clearance. Freezing weather is far away at this time so we can enjoy the plants for weeks and weeks.
Just a small thing on my large list of ‘would like to do’ items that are not pressing.
In the urgency of daily life – this brings me much joy.
And since we can see this table from our living room windows – each day I count this simple project as –
