~ Day 14 ~
Someone once said, “Let love reach its final destination.”
How many times have I written a thank-you note in my mind or had sweet thoughts of an old friend on her birthday? At times like this, social media doesn’t do communication justice. Taking the time to formulate a handwritten note takes forethought and reflection. That’s why I’ve added this to my 31 Days of Lovely list!
I made the trek to a nearby country store where I knew I could find gift cards on clearance. Although, some of my best finds have been at the Thrift Store where packages are unopened and vintage cards sell for pennies. I also dug out some cards from an extra drawer – you know, the one that holds odd and ends, that have no specific home.
I cleared off a spot on my desk. (yes, I’m a messy desk person) Propped up my little card holder and stuffed it full with notes waiting to be written and stamps ta-boot!
Today is a Beatrice Potter kind-of-day with hazy skies and drip-drop rain. I think I’ll make some of that tea I bought on Day 7 and get started now.
