He’s ready to go – I’m ready to cry.
He plans to study law – I plan to focus on the 6 homeschool students we have left.
He’s staying home for the first year – I’m so glad he is.
He’s completed his studies with honors – I’m pleased to reward him for his accomplishments.
He’s worked hard these 12+ years – I know the work has just begun.
He’s been a joy to teach – I’ll miss working closely with him.
He’s #5, a ‘middle child’ – I love him like he was our one and only.
He makes us laugh, think and sing – I make him work hard, dream big and plan for the future.
He loves the Lord with all his heart – I have ‘no greater joy’. (3 John 1:4)
He’ll have a reception in our home – His father and I will honor him in a commencement ceremony.
He feels like this has been a long time in coming – I marvel at how the days have evaporated before my eyes.
He remembers a happy-go-lucky childhood – I remember a blue-eyed boy who changed our lives for good.
